Great post, thank you! We're in the beginning stages of planning our Hawaiian vacation and doing a lot of research. One of our favorite Princeville resorts is St. Regis Princeville - looks so nice and they have a lot of great deals!

Although the Grand Wailea is a beautiful property they only offer valet parking. During our stay the valet damaged our rental car and we ended up being held responsible by Hertz for the damage. After months of trying to rectify the problem we were unsuccessful and had to pay for Hertz for the damage. What was most discerning was that the General Manager of the Grand Wailea; Matthew Baily never returned my call after 3+ attempts. How unprofessional and sad that a guest staying for 7 nights and paying dearly for that vacation does not deserve the courtesy of a return phone call.

Thanks for the info! We love visiting Hawaii. We love Royal Hawaiian. It’s one of our favorite hotels in Waikiki – sort of like a fairy tale hotel for girls

We love visiting the bay area for romantic getaways! One of our favorite romantic San Francisco resorts is Cavallo Point. It's right next to the Golden Gate Bridge so the views are lovely.

I see more and more homeless in Marin. No one that’s in need or hungry is broadcasting it….just suffering. It takes so little to feed another person or show that there are people who care. Each of us can reach out in the smallest way.
I work with a nonprofiit, CURRY WITHOUT WORRY.
We feed a warm nutritious respectful meal to200-250 each Tuesday. Donations fund us. Anyone can be a dinner sponsor by making a tax deductible donation of $250 to currywithoutworry.org We’d like to begin another chapter in San Rafael or Novato..more and more hungry people are getting in line these days.

I completely agree with Coyle; Kitesurfing is just so calming and amazing. Whenever I have a problem or need to clear my head, I go out and do some kitesurfing. It is just so tranquil because it is only, the board, and the water. You just forget everything and get lost in the beauty of the ocean. Learning new tricks also makes it a challenge.
